GlamGlow Youthmud and Supermud

Hello friends! Have you heard of GlamGlow yet?? If not, now you have. GlamGlow is a newer(ish??) skincare brand that offers a variety of masks that make magic on your skin!! I do NOT have sensitive skin but I do have problem skin. I’ve talked about this so much in the past that I’m practically blue…but basically I am combo skin leaning VERY oily but with flakes too.

It was a long road trying to find something….ANYTHING that would help clear up the flakes without making my skin even oilier. Youthmud did that for me… You can see/purchase it here for $69USD. Here’s a description of the product form the GlamGlow website:

Originally designed as a 10-minute professional ‘facial in a jar’ for behind-the-scenes use in Hollywood’s Entertainment, Music, Fashion & Award industries. YOUTHMUD® provides gentle resurfacing exfoliation and helps to leave skin smoother, brighter, and softer resulting in immediate camera-ready glowing skin. For Men & Women. Get your Youthful Sexy Glow back in just 10 minutes. YOUTHMUD® for Super Sexy Super Radiant Skin™.

First off, it comes in a jar, though they do have smaller tube versions. It smells heavily of green tea and menthol which isn’t terrible to me. It has scrubby bits in it as well as green tea leaf. You can scoop and apply or just use a brush to apply. I use it my oily areas but am sure to use it on my areas with dry skin. I leave it on my skin about 10-15 minutes then apply water and scrub then rinse off. It will leave your skin so uber soft! It really is like a facial in a jar. You can use it up to twice a week but note that it DOES tingle/burn and may leave your face red so I suggest using at night before bed time.

This stuff is pretty expensive for the amount you get, but I seem to make a jar last for a few months. And as a side note you can get it a lot cheaper (and authentic) from some sellers on ebay, or jet.com. There is a knockoff version from the body shoppe I believe..at Ulta but I haven’t tried it yet so I cannot really attest to that.

Next up, Supermud!! I’m about to get graphic here….when I was younger I had some pretty bad blackheads on my nose and I used to squeeze them to make them go away. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized I should probably find another method….and Supermud is it!! Supermud is a charcoal type of we facemask…you apply it wet from the tube or the jar, let it dry and it makes cool patterns on your face by drawing the junk out of your pores into the mask….basically you’ll be able to see all of your pores. It truly deep cleanses my pores and makes them WAY less noticeable. I love this stuff! You can find it here, also for $69USD. Here is the site’s description:

SUPERMUD® for super clear super poreless skin. Our most advanced clearing treatment developed for men & women to help fight common skin concerns. Visibly see your pore congestion pull-out & encapsulate within the mask. Immediate and amazing results in just one use.

It really does smooth the skin and zaps those zits. Plus it’s really fun to use because I feel  like I can see it actually working. It works way better than those black peel masks and actually feels good on my skin. It also burns a bit, smells more “mediciney” but truly works. You can even use a little dab on a zit at night and by the next morning it’s cleared up significantly. Are you interested in other GlamGlow products? Ask away I have almost all of them (with the exception of BrightMud and the lip plumpers).
